Privacy Policy

GVG Entertainment (“GVG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a live-music booking agency based in Wisconsin. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use gvg-entertainment.pplx.app or contact us about booking an act, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you don’t agree with anything below, please don’t use the site or the booking form.

Information we collect

• Booking-inquiry information you give us. When you submit our booking form, we collect your name, email address, and any of the following you choose to provide: phone number, event date, event location, band you’re interested in, and the details of your event.
• Consent record. We record whether and when you checked the consent box so that we can prove you asked us to contact you.
• Basic technical information. The page you submitted the form from and a snippet of your browser’s user-agent string, used to help us diagnose problems and detect abuse of the form.
• No tracking cookies. This site does not run third-party analytics, ad networks, or social-media tracking pixels. The only client-side storage we use is what our booking platform (Supabase) requires to keep you signed in if you are an administrator.

How we use your information

• To respond to your booking inquiry and negotiate the engagement.
• To share your inquiry with the specific act you asked about, so they can confirm availability and pricing.
• To keep a record of the booking and any related contracts.
• To comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell your information, share it with data brokers, or add you to a marketing list. We do not use your booking inquiry to contact you about anything you didn’t ask about.

Who we share it with

Your information may be shared with the following categories of recipients, and only to the extent needed for them to do their job:

• The act you inquired about, so they can review the date, venue, and requirements.
• Our service providers, including Supabase (database hosting) and Resend (transactional email). These providers process your data on our behalf and are contractually restricted from using it for their own purposes.
• Law-enforcement or courts if we’re required to respond to a lawful request or believe in good faith it’s needed to protect our rights or the safety of others.

How long we keep it

Booking inquiries are kept for as long as the booking relationship is active plus a reasonable follow-up period (typically up to three years). You may ask us to delete your inquiry at any time by emailing booking@gvgentertainment.com. We’ll confirm deletion within thirty days, except where we’re required to keep certain records for tax or legal reasons.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Ask what information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate.
• Ask us to delete your information.
• Withdraw your consent to be contacted.
• If you are a California resident, request additional disclosures under the California Consumer Privacy Act.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at booking@gvgentertainment.com. We’ll respond within a reasonable time.

Security

We take reasonable technical and administrative steps to protect your information. Our booking database uses row-level security so that only authorized administrators can read submitted inquiries. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is intended for adults booking live entertainment. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has submitted information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
